Field Gates

I can supply and erect field gates of either timber or galvanised tubular steel.

For timber field gates (sometimes called 5 bar gates) erected on timber posts, a span of no more than 12′ wide recommended for a single gate. For a greater width, a pair of gates is required, up to a maximum of 24′ total width.

For galvanised field gates a single gate span up to a maximum of 17′ can be achieved, with pairs of gates required for any greater width.

Field gates come at a standard height of 4′, although I can supply and erect any height and also fanned gates to suit ground if crossfall is an issue for animals to escape underneath.

I can also supply and erect bespoke steel box section gates if a more heavy duty gate required (ie cattle catching pens etc).
